    32 3W & 5W frame question

Is the frame the same between both bodies, or are they different. I will be ordering my chassis this week and need to know.

All 32 Ford passenger car frames are the same, including some commercial vehicles. (pickup, delivery, panel etc.)

Rick, send me a Private Message, I recently got a '32 chassis for my project and would like to share some important info with you before you place that order.

Like already stated ... from Henry's factory the 5W and the 3W share the same frame. Roadsters, sedans ect also. BUT when going aftermarket ... most frame manufacturers want to know which body style you have. The reason being the floor. The floor drops down a fair amount on a 3W ... with the rumble seat ( original cars do ... anyway ) Victorias also have a dropped rear floor.

A 4 bar rear suspension causes interference problems on rumble seat 3W and Victorias.

But my Henry steel 32 roadster ( with a rumble seat ) has a flat floor ... when compared to my 32 Henry 3W

Going 33 and 1/3 rpms in a IPOD world

Definitely a 5W project we are doing. It's going to pretty much be a Graffiti ride, but will not be an exact model like the one Project TMX is doing. Body and stuff will be the same, but there will be differences in the powertrain and rear susp. But otherwise the same. Had made decision to go with New Age rolling chassis.
