Moter, I really like those headers! Is that a pieces/parts kit or a pre-assembled set? Baffles w/direct outlet or dropouts under the frame to mufflers yet to be installed?

I got them from Matt at www.lakeheaders.com. He welded them. You can get them as a kit. I will be running the car chemistry baffles and turn outs. I will not have the exhaust under the car. I can tune the baffles to whatever sound I like. After I fit the body i will be having them ceramic coated.

Thanks guys....its been alot of work. The frame is Dupont Chroma base, it is Washington Blue. We used a black primer, then 5 coats base and 5 coats clear.

The water pump was used to run the engine on a stand to break inthe camshaft. I am going with a mechanical. Has 30 mins run time. Know of anyone that wants one or that would trade?

The video was my forst from a new camera I got this week. Its a Kodak zi8. with a 8 gig card it takes 1 hour of video and will also take still pics [580 of them ]

Does anyone know how a set of lake style headers with baffles will be for a "permanent" street/cruise application? Any prediction on how they affect efficiency, power through the mid range, etc?

Moter, is there a reason that you went with car chemistry's baffle set instead of Matt's? Did Matt put on the turnout adapter plates for you?

I plan on using them full time. As for the performance and power...well the car will weigh 2200 lbs and the engine is 375 HP. I can tune the sound how I like them. I guess the reason I went with the CC design is, first price then tuneablity, I have a freind that has a set and I like the sound from the exhaust. Matts setup is good...It was just my preference.

Matt did all of the welding and the turnout adapter is not welded on yet. It is just slid in place. I am going to have them coated but I wanted to run the engine first before to get all tuning issues taken car of.

    Hope that helps.
