Fuel lines
Hey Guys Looking to start running my fuel lines on my 32 3 window. I have a 350 with 3 x2 barrels. My question is what size fuel line should i use ? Would 1/4 inch be fine or 3/8 line ?

I would use 3/8" at least.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

It would (MAYBE) work with 5/16 line but there would be no savings with 5/16 as apposed to 3/8. You can't go too big.

3/8" works for almost any road driven car (even 5/16" will work in probably 99% - but it doesn't allow for engine upgrades)Dave W

3/8 is my choice.

I don't want anything under 3/8 and if I plumb a car I use 1/2 ss with .035 wall

Once you have tubing large enough to satisfy the engine, going to a larger size has no effect on pressure - assuming there's no air in the line.Jack

Dave
there is a differance in TUBE (od) and PIPE (id) sizes
The sizes you refer to are NPT pipe threads and are standard sizes for AN or compression fittings to tube sizes.
A 1/2 od tube with .035 wall thickness is .430 id or just under 7/16. A 3/8 od tube with .035 wall is just .305 id which I feel is small for most any performance engine
