Checking on Ken Thurm
Haven't noticed any recent post from Ken. Has anyone corresponded with him lately? I really have enjoyed his latest sedan build, and just wanted to check on him and the build.

Like you I was worried because he hadn't been around much, but he did post on my B Day thread as 35fordcoupe mentioned. I know Ken runs a few businesses and figure those and life have gotten in the way for a while, taking him away from his rods and the forum.
I miss his updates and chatting with him too.

He's around. Ken sends emails occasionally my way. I think he is really busy, and has multiple projects going at once! I imagine the next update will be impressive!" "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

Nah, I think the name Thurm is probably of German ancestry. Even Arizona hasn't started deporting Germans yet.

Yeah. Just checking on Ken. He is so good about sharing his builds with everyone. You can't help but appreciate and respect the guy. I hope he is doing well with his businesses.

Yes he is in that league with the likes of Steve,"roadster32" ,"Pro70" and many more on here that make me envious of their natural skill at producing outstanding work and hope and pray all is well with him and his wife and life in general.I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

Thank you for your concerns. I am fine, just working and traveling a lot.
We were making some of our trailer parts in India and China. I have decided to bring everything back here, so I have been shutting down our manufacturing facilities in those country's. It's not that easy to do, but everything will be done by the end of this week. Then I can get back to work on my projects.
I'll be posting some progress by the end of the week.

Congratulations on making what must of been a difficult decision to bring all your manufacturing back to the home base. I only wish that most of our NZ companies would make that same decision and keep other NZers in work instead of supporting other countries.
Looking forward to your updates also when you can thanks Ken. How is Sue and her knee now, fully recovered I hope and chasing you around with that large stick????I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

Ken, I really hope things work out for the best that must have been a tough decision. Best wishes for the future.

Yep. And I seem to move 1 thing and it displaces something else with 1/2 of that landing on the workbench and then I forgot where I was going with this other thing and I'll see something else that...
