23 T windshield
Hi! I have a question about the '23 T Bucket Kit car I just bought for my brother. (He doesn't know that there is this great club where he can ask questions and get help) Does anyone know if it is possible to have a short windshield and still have a top? (widow's top, I think he said)
The kit I got from T-Performance only shows the tall windshield with a top or the short windshield on a convertible. (I think it looks really hinkie with a tall windshield)
Also, how much should the windshield cost? Is T-Performance the only place to get parts?
Thanks for any help you can give!

23 'T' Windshield
Ok Streets wherd ya dig up this Pic, and some trivia what was the original name on the car and when was it made ? Cheryle , there a lot of Tops out there to be had, most of the chopped ones are homemade, there was a fella at the 71 Nationals in Memphis and his T was only 36" high with the top on the car, it had a big tunnel ram intake manifoled an two 4 barrel carb's that was higher than the top , the top opened by pivoting where it connected to the body on each side next to the doors, like most other tops out there.
This made entry and exiting the car possible since it was so low, the name of the car was " The Ground Shaker ", your in Calif. in the thick of everything, and really shouldn't have a problem. There's a great company out there in Bell Flower, named California Custom Roadster, maybe they can help . the top framework , also known as the "Bows" can be fabricated quite easily and then any good Upholster/ Trim Shop could cover the top, Check out Speedway Motors in Lincoln , Neb. for a windshield frame and use the Short windshield posts. and good Glass Shop ( Automotive ) can cut the Safety Glass for it , And does your brother have any idea how lucky he is to have a sister that would buy him a Street Rod ? I would have Loved to have a sister like you. he's one Lucky Bro. Hope this helps , Good Luck.skiball
