    wiring my Deuce

Fixing to start wiring my Deuce, and was wondering how many of you guys ever use a bluk head connector. In case you need to pull the body back off the chassis for some unknown reason. If so where would i get a connector with that many pins and do the transfer thru the floor or firewall or wherever. Thanks in advance.

I have used 3 eight pin conectors on my last three cars so I can pull the body quick.
I get them from Dell City Electrical catalog

When I wired my Model A, I used terminal strips inside the car for easy dissassembly. The only downfall is pulling the wires out the grommets. I couldn't find bulkhead connectors large enough or nice enough to use.

GM used bulkhead connectors in the 60s and 70. You could get one at a wrecking yard and rewire it.

I agree with Don. Every extra joint in the wire that is not needed is just an extra point for problems. Only reason factory uses so many plugs is because of assembly line. If you have to pull the body for some reason disconnecting a few wires and pulling them out is not that big of deal.
