    Probably chrome rather then SS - haven't taken a magnet to them tho the A arms are SS

    I called Heidts, they do have a stainless tie rod end available. I don't know if it will fit the Omni rack. They said it has a 9/16 to the rack and 1/2 to the arm. I'll have to look at the taper to the arm also.

    Both TCI and Heidts use the Omni rack with special tie rods that use Mustang II type tie rod ends. They have 9/16 threads and take 1/2" nuts on the stud. The original Omni rack had metric threads on the tie rod ends. I don't think there are any metric SS tie rods ends. You would have to get chromed ones.
