I don't think a vintage type steering wheel would go very well with that style of street rod. I would go a more modern version and it doesn't have to be billet like a modern version of a banjo wheel.
I have a 46-48 wheel in my 60's style 34 Coupe.

Not very good pictures, but this is the 40 Ford style wheel in my Sons RPU. It is a 15 inch repop that came in black and we painted it white to match the other stuff on the car.

Take a look here at the LeCarra Mark X. At least you can easily buy adapters and accessories rather then try to find something that kinda fits.

I have a LeCarra Mark 9 with leather wrap, but since my car has a lot of billet.....

The world is full of choices. One old standby is the Wheel Shoppe banjo pictured below.
One I haven't used, but looks intrigueing is an outfit called Con2r: http://www.con2r.com/steering-wheels/ use the "design" links on this page and see all the ways you can personalize what they offer. Interesting concept.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

Bob, is that really a PINK wheel cover? If it's yours, I hope Pops doesn't see it after all the trouble he was given over his "pink" frame.Remember, Freedom isn't Free, thousands have paid the price so you can enjoy what you have today.

Purple!!! It's Purple.........................
Yeah, that's my old car, but I sold it without upholstery. My guess is that's the effect of the flash. In person it looked the same color as the rest of the interior.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

Ididit Don, I guess I was really looking for web sites to go look at. Thanks Bob thats a pretty Kool site. I really like the stock wheels (so long they are 15 inch). @dmw56 thats not my car in my avatar, just one I found and like that is in the Dallas FortWorth area. @ itoldyouso You just cannot keep from liking the forty ford wheel must be the reason everyone has one, looks great on your car.Sometime Kool is the Rule But Bad is Bad
