Sedan to Pickup
I was in Des Moines last weekend for the Good Guys show and saw this nicely crafted roadster pickup made from a sedan. This is the first I have seen someone do this and thought i would share since it reminded me a little of the '32 Ute posted previously.

I think I would prefer the 4 fordor sedan over that but each to their own.I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

I guess we all don't like the same things, and shouldn't, but that one doesn't do anything for me at all. Top looks tacked on to me...........but that is just my opinion.

I like the hell out of it. The use of the stripe, the engine and no chrome, and just being diff.Sometime Kool is the Rule But Bad is Bad

I would agree. I like it because it's different.
I have been following the hobby since '58, and have become bored with seeing the same types of builds over... and over... and over. I don't even stop to look at the generic builds any more. This is something I might just make me get the camera out! There was a time it was called customizing... and people tried to be unique. {:-(

Couldn't it be a phaeton with the back covered and a roadster top? Then another look would be a full size top and then topless. It would be fun to be versatile like that.

what would be cool to do is to take the rear top from the sedan, and shorten/ slide it forward for an Elcamino/Ranchero type look..
That looks cool, but the door coming above the body doesn't do it for me.You don't know what you've got til it's gone
