    Building my own top

     



    Would like to see some pics of your deuce top mounting, windshield header, any picture of the bows, so i can get a idea on building the top. Advance would be great also and if you have a Dick Roddwell winshield that would be even better. Thanks Dennie

    This may help you, I made my roadster top frame but used bows from LeBarron Bonney, the bows are very good.


































    Its aweful lonesome in the saddle since my horse died.

    I originally built a "Carson" top framework for mine but ended up using a complete framework as well as bows, again, from LeBaron-Bonney. The quality is very nice even without using their stainless irons. Unfortunately, I can't find any of my assembly photos - I didn't take many as my upholsterer was waiting.

    This is the "Carson" framework as it was being built:

    And this is the 'final Lebaron-Bonney with custom fabric. I need to add the decorative 'hidem' across the front this winter.

    Thanks guys . never heard of LeBaron-Bonner. will check them out. Not that it matters Roadster 32 my son in law is from Leeds. I think that how you spell it. Thanks again Dennie
