Amazing what can be accomplished when one has the right gear in the workshop. I would of had to sent that sort of work out sadly. You and Steve on here are two guys that I enjoy watching your work.
I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

Tonight my goal was to turn a mock up supercharger drive hub so I can continue to build up the belt drive system.

So, this is what I've been thinking for the front end... Looking for opinions/advise.

I like the chrome axle with holes punched, and the light setup, The leather hood straps are cool too. Very clean classic look, just enough chrome without distracting from the rest of the build." "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.

like that front end

That style of front end requires a fair bit of tweaking to account for the method of hanging the suspension; chop off the front of the rails, spring hangers on the radius rods or some other form of rear (relative to the axle) bracket, and relocated rear pivots for the radius rods. Then there's the need to place the engine higher for pan clearance which raises the trans, which makes for a bigger hump to clear the trans bell, which eats foot room. Then the drive shaft tunnel being higher into the interior space. But you look like a guy with enough savvy to already realize that. Those are not necessarily negatives as long as a guy knows what his compromises will be and he can live with them. The look on the front of the car is really good though............so that's one of the payoffs.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

Can't see the detail in your picture. Quarter elliptical springs?Roger

I was thinking of doing push rods mounted to the radius rods. The push rods would act on rockers in front of the radiator and grill shell. The rockers would transmit the energy to a pair of coil overs mounted vertically.
I just think it would be cool to see all this action right out in the open.

Ordered brakes
...and chrome I beam front axle, chrome spindles and kingpins from Magnum Axle. Going to take a month to get the axle and spindles - the forged stuff is pretty new for them I guess.
Thank you Roger. .
