The work bench looks like a typical car painters bench in need of a clean up but the worker is too busy doing the important stuff. And that observation is made from the reflection in the non cut'n polished off the gun gloss paint on the side of the car too. Oh, and I won't mention it is about time you shaved Don. LOL...I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

I was going to say you using Mum's new vacuum cleaner on blow instead of suck but the new foam rollers is doing a fine job. Amazing how a coat of paint can make a car look finished and ready for cruising.I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.

Went out huntin Monday Mark and found this. All new driveline 355/700r4, new brakes, shocks, grille and surround, tires, bumpers, wood is good in the bed.Just has a piss coat of rattle can flat black on it over og paint that is a color I have never seen on 1 of these. It's a creamy white, the spd in the glove box says "Special paint." Had the usual rocker and cab corner rust, but put those on 2day Couldn't pass it upWhen I get to where I was goin, I forgot why I went there>

Nice start to the truck. Except for the late model seat IMO. something about the scroll/ embossing ( not sure the term ) on them, that just looks 'right'..
You always amaze me on how fast you flip your cars around, and have them high quality..You don't know what you've got til it's gone

Re the seat,
1st off using a late model seat in a 67/72 gives 4 more inch's of legroom.
2nd it was already in the truck.
3rd after the interior is redone you'll never know it a late model seat.
Regarding (as you say flippin them) I do the work on them as if I was going to own it for a long time,
I don't waste a lot of time talkin about what I'm going to do I just do it.
And lastly I price my stuff to sell, not over price em as most do.
It's a simple equation sell 10 to 15 a year @ 20/25% margin or sell 1 or 2 @ 60% a year. Do the math.
That and the buyer is tickled cause he bought a nice vehicle for 10/15% under market.
I make my money the day I buy the car. It's just good business.
Also I'm capable of doin it all myself except upholstery and have a trim guy who says I'm his best customer, so he takes real good care of me $$ wise and quality wise.
Retirement is great.
I don't know where else I could make over 10K for workin less than 60 HRs do you?Last edited by DA34GUY; 07-15-2015 at 05:49 PM.
