    Recovery Tank

I need to buy and install a puke tank for the roadster. Any recommendations or guidance on the install? Does it require a different radiator cap?

Most of us use the cylindrical tube-type that mounts to the side of the radiator. The advantage of these is that they don't take up much room, and they do work quite well.

Yep, what he said. They're simple clean and effective. And the cap does need to be for a closed system.

Here's a link to a really good basic explanation of the wide range of terms used to confuse people about cooling systems - https://jimdinner.wordpress.com/2012...aps-explained/

Go to your local parts store and tell them you want a radiator cap for a "closed" or "vented" system, and no these terms are not in conflict even though they sound like they are opposites. A ‘Vented’ cap = ‘Closed’ cap – ‘Vented’ means is sucks from the ZERO PRESSURE tank as it cools down. ‘Closed’ means it does not go to the ground.
A ‘Non-Vented’ cap = ‘Open’ cap- ‘Non-vented’ means it does not suck coolant back into the cooling system. ‘Open’ means when the pressure gets too high it dumps onto the ground.

Spend a dollar or two more and buy the name brand cap, like a STANT or equivalent.

I've got a mini Heineken keg that would fit the bill. It holds about a half gallon.

How does the grill come off? Is it just friction? I don't see any bolts.

Anyone have any idea where to find the frame-mounted front turn signals used on the blue deuce in the above photo?
Been looking for something different, kinda like the look of these.

    Welcome.

Those look to be just an old pair of cab clearance lights.

Type in "vintage cab clearance lights" (E Bay or Goggle) and you can find a bunch of different variations. The older they are the heavier the metal is and a lot of times they will have real glass lenses. Newer ones will sometimes be made of stainless or aluminum. One thing you want to watch for is that some have a slight curve to the base which will not work well on a flat frame rail.

I've been looking at clearance lights for a while, have never seen any with the glass fins you see on these. Hoping to find the manufacturer/part #.

If you have an open shock mount like the blue deuce, you could use drill a hole and employ a large Visibolt to act as your turn signal like I did. They are small but bright enough to work as your turn signal. They worked for me.
