Thread: 37 packard coupe

HI I have a 37 packard coupe with nova front end on it this car is going to be for drag only it has 12 bolt 410 gear's th400 trans with 406 Eng. Before i put it together, can any one help me to set it up so i have the write converter and redo trans so it will hold up for a time and can i run a trans brake in hot rod. The 406 is not stock it has a mechanical CAM. duration is 246 in and ex. lift in is 498 lift ex is 498 lobe center is 108. The heads are sportsmans 2 with roller rockers. im running a edlebrock intake with a 650 Holly carb.

HI DAVE
I HAVE FOUND A 37 THREE WINDOW COUPE BUT DOES
NOT HAVE A TRUNK AND SOMEONE TOOK A VOLKSWAGEN HOOD
AND WELDED IN PLACE. I HAVE NOT BOUGHT THIS CAR YET BECAUSE OF THE TRUNK MISSING BUT WOULD LIKE TO BUY AND RESTORE IT. THE ONLY REASON I AM ASKING IS THAT SOMETIMES
DRAG CARS ARE STRIP DOWN AND WELDED UP TO LIGHTEN THEM
UP.IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SELL YOUR TRUNK LID ARE HAVE A 37
