What is the world record E/T?
Is the best time recorded by a import or a classic? Of course thiers diffrent classes of drag racing, so just the best E/T's of any class.

In NHRA Top Fuel the record is in the 4.40s. Quite a while back a hydrogen peroxide powered rocket car ran in the 3s, but they no longer let them run at NHRA sanctioned tracks. Too fast for safety.
PatOf course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!

How come I never see the Quicksilver car on any of those lists. I would of thought that a 4.91 was a record somewhere.Mike Casella

4.91 would fall a little behind that number, but still not too shabby.
