Any of the well-known converter manufacturers can handle your needs. Use your search engine to look for Hughes, Art Carr, ATI, B&M, etc.PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.

PTC
Here's a great company.

I and many of my friends on the BBF forum have excellent results. Highly recommended. Give 'em a call. They rebuilt my buddies 8" PG converter for about $250!Damon Sea

Converter
Allmost any converter will work with the small HP you are refering to.
The main things are what stall you want. Find out what degree at 50 your cam is and buy converter to match or its all a waist of time.

If money is a problem. Redneck racing on E-Bay will build a converter to match your needs at a good price.
Just enter 4000 or higher stall and you should find them.

Also if your on a budget, Transmission Specialties makes a good converter, they have a 24-2800 for a Gm Trans. for 149.00 on their website or you can probably find one at your local speed shop for 199.00.

For the kind of power you are making, a high performance daaco converter works just fine. We have used them many times in our shop. The last one we used was for a 700R4 and cost less than $130.Last edited by blue57ford; 10-26-2005 at 10:42 PM.
