That's My Boy!
Here is the video clip of my son taking his first round win light. Him and I worked on this car over the winter, with him doing most of the work. It all came together, and performed great.

So when is the Father v Son pass going to be??? Did you get the cage mounts done for the camera yet?? Sounds like the two of you will have a really fun summer---while some of us are just slaving away in the shop still !! I'm jealous....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Dave, The camera mounts are being done some time this week, along with all the other brackets. I'm still contemplating using a helmet cam for some "in car" shots.
The Father vs Son pass will happen sometime this season. He cuts a very mean light, whereas I don't. I have alot of practicing to do in the mean time. I'll be sure to keep everyone as up-to-date as I can.Mike Casella

Do you have a practice tree, Pro?? I still use mine quite a bit. I think it helps. The in car shots should be great. I had my camera mount so that the camera looked over my right shoulder. After having it on a few runs, I discovered my shift RPM was a bit inconsistent. The camera got me to watch my launch and shift RPM a lot closer. The way my lights are, I need all the help I can get !!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

I don't have a practice tree.....yet. I'll see what happens this weekend, it being Fathers day and all. Maybe, just maybe. I think the helmet cam will be much smoother, I'll just have to give it a try and see what happens. My son's first time trial netted him a 512 light, so I have my work cut out for me in that respect. I always have raw horsepower to fall back on. heheheMike Casella

Pro,
My oldest son is till about 8 years away from driving any cars at the track and he's kind of lost interest in helping me in the shopbut he's only 8 years old.
Good Luck this weekend!!Damon Sea

FMX, get rid of the crappy computer or fix it, then the video clips will show up just fine. I bet if I was showing nothing but 66 F100's or 48 Chevy's you'd fix it in a hurry.Mike Casella

Haha. Sure would! Well when I have money I need it for other things like gas money and to be put away for parts and now for college. No time or money for a new computer.www.streamlineautocare.com

Outstanding. I really enjoyed working with my son, so I understand the feeling. There would be a lot fewer problems with young folks if things like this would happen more often. That is really Outstanding. robert
Thanks guys! One more trip around the sun completed. Lots of blessings and things to be thankful for (like still being able to type this message!!) Here's to us "over 70 guys.." Glenn
