Having run the Lenco 3 sp in our alcohol FC and TFC back in the old days I would have to say go for the Lenco drive. You probably would never break it. They are so easy to work on. You can take the things apart in 15 minutes. We never broke ours. We replace the clutch plates once a year and the shift fork. The new one are much better so as long as you keep it adjusted you won't have problems at all.
I think they are a bit more $$$ than a PG but surely tougher. Call them and ask.
