Mustang Ignition
Hey I'm really stuck and need some advice, anyone have any comments on a steet/strip ignition system? I have a '66 Mustang with a 289 +.030, 280* Comp Cam, 1.94"/1.60" valves in small chamber big plug heads, other stuff, and was wondering if if there are any performance values to adding MSD 6AL, Dist, Coil and other ignition parts. I know that it will yield more of a consistent spark pattern, easier starting, and maximum burn in chamber if done right. Other than more reliability will it help make more power in the sense of cost/effectiveness ratio? Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!
