    Pictures of my old sleeper

My daughter was digging through some photos today and came across some pictures of my good old '68 Biscyane. 427/425 hp, 4 speed, 4.10 gears, heavy duty suspension. My first fast street car. 13 flat was pretty quick for a daily driver in 1971. It was my only car, drove it to work every day, drove it to the track with the slicks in the trunk. Nice big trunk too. My best time was a 13.03 at 108. If I had just learned to drive it a little better I believe it was an easy 12.80 car. I was afraid to leave too hard for fear of breaking it. Usually did 4000 rpm starts with 6500 shifts, went through the lights at the very top of 3rd gear.

The car sure was fun on the street, I looked like I was 15 driving daddy's fleet car.

I think Henry Rifle and Dave Severson might recognize Cornhusker Raceway Park

Of course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!
