re:need help
I agree you need a ton more gear, higher stall converter, shift kit in that 700r4 . You didn't say what rpm you are reaching, but with that manifold you need to operate in the upper ranges.

gears
i have a shift kit i usually reach around 6000rpm i would like to go with higher gear like 456 but i would like to keep street ability
what kind of stall would you use and what about nitrous will a 700r4 hold up

i have 64 cc chambers and 2.02 1.60 valves 195 cc intake runners they have been cnc I only drive this truck in the weekends and it is parked in the winter so gas mileage really doesnt matter so what would u do to go full race gears stall bigger cam? the motor really snaps around 3400 before that it is like driving a 4 cylinder what kind of comp do u think i have and how do i check the comp and also what about nitrous and the 700r4

depends how you use the nitrous...typically the 700r is not the best choice for a trannymission in a drag car...i agree with the above suggestions also...put the car on a diet and decide what you want to do with it..drive it or race it...a 100 shot probly wouldnt kill it as long as you dont use slicks and bust it off the line, but thats how you get em movin

"i would like to keep street ability"
My opinion, make a choice. You can't have your cake and eat it too. A dual-purpose truck can't be optimized for either the street or the strip and is at best....a compromise.PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.

with a 350 in a truck it will be hard to move. you need more engine or something that is lighter. or leave the rices burners alone or step up and work on the power to weight putting more gear will help but not to street friendly

I agree with tech, you do have to make compromises. With the exception of the cam,you have a strictly top end engine. dog on bottom end, wakes up at 3400. That gives a good clue where you need the stall. I'd rather use a turbo 350 set up for street -strip.You could try a 9in ford rear from an early Bronco 51 in. drum to drum, and 4.56 posi stock, and swap the pumpkin to 3.08 or so for street use.
