    took the car out sunday

it ook the car back out sunday for the last race of the year. carb wasnt working very well during the day best in the heat was 13.40 so i dialed 13.51 and got to the trophy round and spanked a ss 396 chevelle but broke out he dialed 13.50 me 13.51 i ran 13.21 he ran 13.48 i let off even so i wouldnt break out but it wasnt enough but is till spanked him across the line well 2 runner ups for 2 races aint bad. best run of the day was 13.06 last time it was 13.07 anyway it was a 13.06 at 106 so i went a tiny bit faster then last time and my gear drive is going to the trash can its leaving shards in my motor 1st time its ever happened in 3 motors. and the timing will jump back and forth 10 degrees at idle at high rpm its good but not down low ok so you guys were right dont rub it in ......scooter i still waxed that BBC

I was hot for gears for a while, till I found out that they actually transfer more of the camshaft harmonics to the timing.. So If ya run gears then you need to take the timing off the flywheel...

Anyway that is what I have heard.. myth or fact?
