Yeah, well. I'd sure like to see a normal daily driven construction truck no matter what brand it is run in the 12's!!! Sorry, that's just a little hard for me to grasp!!!!!

If diesel trucks are fast, you're going waaaay tooooo sllooooooowwwww!!!!!

Sorry, there I go being a smarta** again!!!!

aaacctuualllyyy, There's a chevy shortwide that a guy did a duramax/allison swap in and it's running down in the 10's. There's a guy that did a 5.9 cummins swap thats in the 9's...Of course no one wastes their time on the power stroke

All jokes aside, there really is a few people that take their diesels seriously (not only in mind but in their wallet too). It takes a lot of money to get a diesel to run that fast, but it is possible.

Well, I know how my Powerstroke pulled, with nothing more than a chip. The Duramax's and Cummins' certainly never had to wait for me to catch up!!!!!

As far as the 9 second stuff, well that's like comparing a stock small block camaro to a Pro Stock car. Comparisons are only good when we compare apples to apples!!!!

I'm lovin the new diesels... they are very nice to drive and have a ton of power...whether it be Chevy, Dodge, or the black sheep, Ford.

Not to brag on chevy or anything but one day at my shop we were very bored so we took the boss's 05 duramax and a friend's 05 powerstroke and went hitch to hitch. The duramax drug the powerstroke all the way down the street...Both trucks were chipped, neither on the bottle, both are daily driven, and the powerstroke was dually, the duramax 4x4

let's just say he was more than enthused...considering he was the one behind the wheel of his truck!

To put it this way, it was christmas eve (yea...we had to work), we were collecting paychecks and Christmas bonuses...As he was writing the bonuses he said "Here, guys since I'm in such a good mood today..."

My Christmas bonus was worth about a month's pay...
