Reality really bites!!! The last 9.90 car we ran and were competitive in was in the early 90's, had a bit over 20K in the car......
Bracket racing locally is a lot cheaper. Once your car meets the sanctioning bodies safety requirements, you can build the car to run as fast as you can afford to go!!! I would love to dig my old GTA out of the barn and run NHRA Super Stock class---just don't have the $25k to $30K it would take to make the car run on index..... Like I said, reality bites!!!!
Consistency in a car is to me far more crucial then low et's.... If you can get the car and the driver to run the same times in the same RT/dial-in package round after round you can be a winner against the mega buck cars......Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
