Hmmmm... Single seat in the center and no headlights. I believe this would have run as an Altered. Still cool, though. Modern drag racing stuff just doesn't have any "soul".

I wondered what happened to my '66 Ruby Red sedan! After four air cooled 4cyls (one with a Judson supercharger) it definitely deserved an engine like that!

    one with a Judson supercharger

Ha, I remember the Judson superchargers. Had one on my Austin Healy Sprite when it had the 4 in it. Used a Ford Falcon carb, and really woke up the little 4 banger.

It could have run as an Altered or Funny Car under most of the popular sanctioning bodies. Reminds me of the Durachrome Bug flopper!

I just noticed, it has left hand steering. I thought the picture was flipped, but the fuel pump mounting is in the right place on the engine, so it is really left hand steering. Shifter seems to be to left of wheel too. English drag car??

He did say it is now in Sweden.

I believe it's center steer. Optical illusion.

funny enough that ferdinand porsche took the basics of the topolino design and integrated them into the bug
