Hey pozz, that sounds cool. Hemis are bad @$$. I wonder if 1200 cfms of fuel isn't too much though. Maybe you could re jet and/or try a more specific cam. Who can afford superchargers anyway.. I am going to stick my neck out here and say that fuel injection is for yuppies and corvette guys; and you know what they say about corvette guys=-)... I wonder if.. oh well, enjoy your hemi, I would like to hear more about it and hemis in general.

Hey Pozz, years ago had a small hemi on the street, used 2 of the old 500 cfm 4 bbl. AFB's on it. Worked fairly well. A set of Hilborn's would really look great on the hemi, got to be some of them around yet to fit the little hemi. Swap meets would probably be a good place to start looking.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Where is the nearest bank
Larry that setup is great!!!DaveI may have to much carb the cam company said 500-600s. I'am going to rejet first. This is an auto shop project car and funds are limited. I'd like to find a complete set if stack type injection and hope I could get it working. I stole the carbs of my corvette so I didn't invest much and the manifold is borrowed. The carbs were ok on the vette and the hemi setup was hotter I thought. The kids want a blower but its to late the hemis at 10-1 and we are comitted to the Cam etc. that we have. If anyone has used injection on an old hemi let me known how it worked out. We have about 900 to start with plus they will most likely put the tap on me for a few bucks I thought that would buy a mechanical setup?

Hey Streets, you got the math on volumetric efficency?? How much is it effected by a blower?? Are bigger runners the key to getting a blower to work right??Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

hey pozz
Mechanical stack Injection is excelent for dragracing. if your going to the track go for it. not real easy to find old units for the early hemis (I have been running them for almost 19years now) sent me an e-mail with your cam specs, weight of car etc etc to memch@sbcglobal.net I can get you squared away and get your HEMI haulin for ya.
