Division 4 Drags
My cousins ran their cars last weekend at the division 4 drags in Ennis, TX. The track champs from all around competed there. I took a few pics and figured I would share them with yall.

Josh broke out in the first round... Its a new car and he wasnt used to it. it runs low 10's to high 9's. Cool broke out in the 3rd round... David broke out 3rd round but had an awesome weekend anyhow... he cut "3" .000 perfect lights back to back during time trials, then a .012 followed by "2" .001 lights. for a total of .014 for all 6 runs .... we couldnt beleive it ... "3" .000 lights in a row! He's gonna frame those time slips .... All in all it was a good time ....
I have a few more pics but I'll wait to post them till i get this photo resize thing figured out....Never go in reverse when you can go forward.

Thanks Dave and Justin... over the Thanksgiving holidays I went home to south La. to visit family and hang out at the track (No Problem Raceway) with old friends and relatives. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Wondered why I ever moved so far away. Big pots of Jambalaya, & Beef Stew simmering, and just a plain old good time. And of course the smell of burnt rubber and fuel . I meant to take a few pics but I was having so much fun I forgot about it... Srry ... Well Maybe next time... Dave if you ever head back over to Ennis Give me a shout, It'd be nice to meet you.

Well, there's a group of us keep talking about it every year, don't know if this will be the year or not...... I will certainly let you know if we are going...
Louisiana, huh!!!! I was "sentenced" to Keesler AFB, Ms. for my last 10 months in the Air Force.... We went racing in Gulfport a lot, and a few times over to LaPlace, La. for some of the bigger meets they had..... This was back a few years ago, like 1971!!!! I would imagaine lots has changed down there since......Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

I had never even heard a B.S. "story" involving 3 perfect lights. Let alone figured I'd ever witness it again. He took the time slips to the tower and asked them if they'd ever seen that before .... of course they said no.... we kept thinking he was gonna go "red" on the next pass, but I guess it was his lucky day, and he knew to push it... He just about wrung the skin off his hands between passes ... lol ... you could see the worry oozing off him as he paced and paced... It was nuts ... I figured he'd give himself heart failure... They tell me he's normally consistent with .012's. All I know is he was "ON FIRE" that weekend.
I hate to rub it in skids72 but they even have a christmas race there in early - mid December. After that, they close the track till January.
Dave, I'm sure there are lots different down there... No Problem is a fairly new track. It's only been there a few years. Pretty nice place though. Here's a link to the track site: http://www.noproblemraceway.com/
