Peiceofpaper, that's a very cool ride. You'll be happier with the rear end only mount. Even if you don't plan to use them it will look more authentic and by the looks of the side shot, you might find yourself usin' 'em more than you think. That's gonna' be a wild lookin' hot rod.

Yup. if you think about it, there is one bolt per bar on the wheelie bars. When you connect the bottom 2 bars to the differental you can move that section up and down like a hinge untill the top section has been mounted. If you mount the top section to the frame rail, they will both act as swivel points.
Because of the angle the upper bars that go to the frame rail would be at, and if you bars happen to touch the ground even once, it will unload all the weight that the chassis is putting on the differential and cause the tires to loose all there grip. This happens because of the upper and lower bar sections trying to seperate the frame from the differential.
