Well, not exactly so with the new car.... As of now it's still an ill handling POS that takes a lot of driving to keep it out of the wall.... I like the new car, it sure is a bunch safer but I also like the fact that it takes a lot of driving to be competitive. NASCAR has this car templated to death, no more creative engineering on the sheetmetal to dial in the aerodynamics. The new car has also made "the team" more important, everything has to be right at the start of the race, then during the course of the race communication between driver and crew is critical to keep up with the track.... add to this the strategy involved in running a 500 mile race and sooooo many teams having all the good equipment as opposed to years ago when only about 10 cars were capable of winning a race, everybody involved had better "bring their A game" come race day.....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
