not bad for a stock engine caddy i am now wondering about a really mild convetor maybe 2000 to 2250 rpm stall speed to put behind it.
Ive got some buddies down the street that have been building a stong chev 302 v8 vega all winter rear subframe 9 inch ladder bars roll bar 3500 rpm stall slicks etc about 9 g worth. They were at the strip and we set up a grudge matchlate in the day, thats when i ran the 12.9 I had been leaving it in drive all day running easy 13.2s shifing at about 4200 rpm
this time i shifted manualy and run to about 4700 rpm and kicked them hard
their old man was there and was miffed,told me he cant figure why my car goes so fast.
i just told him its a cadillac
