    I was just watching the race from this weekend, and they said connie kallita died tuesday, i cant find a story on the nhra page, does anybody know the scoop? It seems like were losing the legends fast these days.

    His brother died, not Connie. That would be Doug Kalitta's dad....

    Well i guess i was mistaken, thanks for the info denny, that explains why there was not more press, i know connie was not liked very much,but i figured there would be more press if he died.

    Connie is not exactly what I'd call a "people" person. I flagged him a couple of times many years ago and IMHO he was a pain in the %*&.

    he can be groughy, like WJ but all in all there just tough skinned , if id seen as much crap as they have id be like that to lol.
