    Nostalgia race car plans

Does anyone know where I can find chassis plans for a 50's - 60's style altered, roadster, dragster, ect.
I'm getting tired of sitting in hot parking lots next to my car and would like to get back into racing. I'm familiar with this type car and would love to run one again.
The reason I want plans is to build a legal car that will pass inspection, and is safe to let my friends and I play with.
I'm a fabricator by trade, and always build what I drive. Thats about 75% of the fun.

    Thanks

I really enjoy building, and would prefer to build from scratch. I've gone about as far as I can with my "T", and I'm trying to decide on a new project.
I don't want to spend much money on this car, because I don't want to run a full season of serious drag racing. We have wednesday evening 1/8 mile races here in Portland, and some other low key events in the area.
I've got a lot of misc. T-Bucket parts that could be use for a nostalgia racer. I'll probably build a racing T-Bucket.
I guess what I really need is what is required for safety and to pass tech. (roll bar, material specs., ect.).
I've been thinking about this project for awhile, and last year I joined NHRA just to get their specs. I guess I'm just not very sharp, because I couldn't figure out what they require on this type of car.

    Thanks
    Larry

Just my 2 cents but the nhra hand book might help I know it gives all the rules and classifications for altereds and such and whats required depending on how fast you want to go. I had an old chasis and usually a good chasis shop especially one that can cerify chassis is probly the best place to ask what should be where. Hope this helps dunno this ones is for the ihra http://www.ihra.com/tech/revisions.html

I can't find my rule book! I'll borrow one for one of my friends. Thanks for the info.
