Ted is a class act and a real true honest to goodness good guy.
He will bend over backwards to help a Stude guy go faster.
Incredible reaction times (almost 50 years of non-stop drag racing helps!)

As a footnote...
Ted was an honoree at last summers NHRA Hot Rod Reunion!
(That's Ted in the middle with his 'Chicken Hawk' T-shirt on).

Remember this is a '63, that's before the GTO and the other muscle cars came on the scene. Ted also has a 51 Bullet nose called the Chicken Hawk that he used to dominate NHRA Stock classes with until they changed the rules. He has since turbo charged it and it screams, that is his basis for the Avanti, something a little lighter and more aero. Ted is no spring chicken himself, he is well into his 60s.

And I agree Dave, something different is cool. A 1200 hp BBC is just another 1200 hp BBC
