Wheelie pickup that went over backwards??
Does anyone remember the name of that wheelie truck? I think it was a yellow Econoline, with tubing hoops over the top of the bed. They allowed the truck to go over backwards, then as it slid, it would roll forward back onto it's wheels. I saw it at Indy.Last edited by HOTRODPAINT; 06-09-2008 at 06:00 PM.

Here's a list of some of the better know wheelstanders, maybe you'll recognize a name; http://www.geocities.com/wheelstandi...tander_car.txtYour Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

Bob, Good idea...... but it's been too long ago. The only other thing I remember was that the back end was shortened to keep it from complicating the "rollover" stunt.

No, I just stumbled across that one awhile back. You could do a database search, say Google, they have the image section as well as web. Try different ways to word it and you get more variety.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

Great stuff! I loved the long FEDs from about 1970. God did not want the engine in the back! >:-(

You're welcome Mike, glad it worked out for you. Roger, it's taken a few years but my inventory of excess parts has shrunk a fair bit from 1 1/2 garage stalls to about an eight by eight space. ...
