No Bind suspension
I've been thinkin' again...and yes I know that's dangerous.... Did some studying on some of the late model circle burners with the 4 bar rear suspension. Man, they have adjustability us drag racers only dream about!!!! Anyway one of the big differences is that they use "birdcages" and pull bars instead of solid welded brackets.... When they transverse the corners the rear goes from full compression to full extension, as much as 9" with absoloutely no bind....Had to make a couple laps in a buddies car just to get the feel for it... It's wild! Man they hook up on dirt better then a lot of cars do on asphalt.
No idea what it would do on a street or drag car and just wondering what you guys thought... Here's a pic of a bearing mounted birdcage for a 4 bar setup. There is of course a pull bar on the top of the rear end housing---that also has a couple different adjustments on it.... Just thinkin' out loud I guess......Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
