Here is one of his most recent rides and below dragging down the interstate fleeing police after a long night of burning rubber and leaving the local teens a few dollars less in their pocketbooks with the taste of burnt rubber on their tongues!!
Seriously Ken how long did you drag race?

Steve,
I never saw that site before. Thanks for posting it. I raced for 18 years, have some great memories, got to meet a lot of my childhood heroes, and got to race against some of them also. I don't miss it at all now, it can consume you. I give 100% when I do things, drag racing will take that and more if you let it. You can never do enough, there is always more that can be done.

This is another favorite of mine. Dyno Don Nicholson and I teamed up for a while. We used his motors and my car. What a learning experience that was. That man was tireless, we would work 18 hour days like they were the norm. He was a good friend and partner.
That's me standing on the other side of the front end wishing I was driving. The deal was I drove when we were testing and he drove the events

Dave-Thanks, it was always in the top 60ft times, Don was so knowledgeable and so much fun, it was some of my best memories. We would go to dinner after the races and talk for hours.
lamin8r-Thank you, I wish I would of taken more time to document things and taken more photo's.

The Dragster shot with the blowers-eye view of the driver, I'd recognize that drag strip anywhwre, it's the now-deceased Carlsbad Raceway....

A different kind of drag racer, the first ones really cut up the track, the second one makes us all run faster!
