    Talking Bringin' Home the Hardware!

Busy weekend at the track, King Street races Saturday and Sunday and also annual all-comers street legal "Street Car Shootout" on Sunday...

Saturday went out third round and lost some of my points lead cushion. Sunday morning was doing the math trying to figure how many rounds I needed to win and decided "I NEED TO WIN THEM ALL!"

So that's what I did! Not only did I win the King Street (street legal 12.75 and faster) final but I also won the Street Eliminator class in the Street Car Shootout (RWD street legal)!

Holy Cow! Made 18 passes including 4 time trials... the last nine passes were non-stop without getting to the pits (running on fumes the last round!) Was down to 5-8 minutes between the last several rounds.

Was one of those rare occasions where both the car and driver were doing their jobs. Car was deadly consistent (at least predictable) and running its quickest times ever (11.530 with mufflers).

I now have a lock on the season points championship in King Street with one more race to go.

    Race results Street Eliminator

    Race results King Street

Points Standings King Street (9 round lead!)

The bum I raced in the Street Eliminator final had the nerve to try to burn me down at the tree after watching me hot-lap all day I wasn't gonna play that game and went ahead and staged.... ever race that jerk again he's gettin' double-bulbed!

Sorry to keep coming on here to brag. My post count would be a lot higher if I told y'all about the races I lost

Many thanks to all those on here that have given me guidance over the years

Congrats on the wins!!!! Busy, busy day with all the passes, but the results are certainly worth it!!!!! Very well done

The consistency of the car and driver are what it takes to win these marathons, and you obviously had it dialed in!!!!!

The points race should be a walk....do you guys have a prize fund that pays out at the end of the year?????

All in all, looks like a very fine season going!!!! Now just finish it up with a few more double-ups!!!!!!!

I've dealt with a lot of those boneheads at Bandimere.
The bum's last name didn't happen to be Stouska was it?
Same class, same tactics, same loser attitude.
What if the "Hokey Pokey" is what it's really all about?

Thanks, Dave! Don't know about a payout, never been in a position to worry about it before. I know I get a "Gold Card" that is good for free entry for the class all next year.

nitro: I won't name the bum but it is the guy I ran in the Street Eliminator final if you check the results. All in all, I have found the Bandimere racers to be really classy guys and have helped me out of a lot of binds. The starting line shenanigans are pretty rare occurrence but every basket has a few bad apples.
