    whats getting built this winter?

Just curious to see who is building what.
my customers are slowly coming back after the near collapse of the economy to finish projects that came to a halt due to fear or lack of money.
As for my own stuff, The Nostalgia fuel car is getting a full nose. I'm using pictures of the Pete Robinson Tinker toy body as my inspiration, and nitro funnybike is being rebuilt for ADRL promod wars

Very very cool builds! That's a mean looking truck!
Me: I don't know how to build a hot rod.
Old Hot Rodder: You ever build a model car?
    Me:Yeah...
Old Hot Rodder: Well instead of using glue you weld.

Nice stuff, Jay! Just the same stuff over here, the '37 Plymouth that had to sit for awhile due to lack of funds, same on a '69 'maro, '66 pickup, and a couple others at the shop---which of course has left my 'maro and my Ranchero setting because of lack of funds.... Things are looking a bit better, hopefully the new year will free up some bucks!

I also have a project in the starting stage. A little different but I just fill in love with the looks of one I saw on flea bay, couldnt buy that one so I started a new build of my own.

Here is what got the juices flowing and after the project.

Those are some very cool projects.

I'm still stripping the tar and felt out of the interior of the 36 Chevy project. That stuff is a pain in the arse. I tear loose any felt paper that I can. Then I use a heat gun and a scrapper. Once the felt is off, I use the heat gun and scrapper to get a layer of tar off. Then I go to a razor blade scrapper and get it down as far as I can.

Once the Tar and Felt are out completely, I'll be taking the fenders and body off to do the rear end, put in the cross member, and mount the engine and trans. SO... I have a lot to do over the remainder of winter. (although... spring is a long time away in Minnesota)

My 1950 Studebaker Champion. I've pulled the body off the frame so I can finish up some welds and detail the frame. Most of the fab and suspension work is completed I just need to finish up the frame and put it all back together.
