Dirt pits, hot chicks, and.....
......60's rock!
To help you unwind from the Christmas crunch, wile away a part of the long holiday weekend with some nostalgic drag racing pics and footage. Try not to get too wrapped up in the "wish it was still like that" thing, nothing stays the same. Yeah, those babes are all 60 plus years old now, but then.....yeah baby! And if you've got your PC hooked up to a sound system, then CRANK IT UP! (crank it up even if you only have the tiny, cheapo speakers that came with the computer......what the heck!)
A little Political Correctness creeping in even in the '60s;
Mix in some music with a two hit wonder band. If you're a lover of the Hammond B3 sound then this one will get you especially at the 7 minute mark. Also, you string or web paint guys should enjoy the hood of Dyno Dons Cougar at the same time mark.
For your funny car fix this should work. They sure splashed a lot of different body styles in the day. And for the B3 freaks, Booker T at 2:40 on the timer.
And speaking of political correctness..........throw it out the window! A promoters dream of Cha Cha, Jungle Jim, and of course Jungle Pam.......

Excellent videos Bob, thanks for sharing.
Ah, Jungle Pam. IMO a perfect example of the difference between beautiful and sexy. Certainly not to say Pam wasn't pretty, but her sexiness far outweighed her looks. Just a cool Chick for sure.
So those women are all over 60 now, huh? Hmmmmmmmmmm, so AM I!!

Great videos Bob,
I haven't seen any present day pics of Jungle Pam but it's my guess she is still in the upper level of sexyness (if she is still above ground). My post 60 mate still turns me on.
Jack.

She is still alive and well. Here is a sort of recent picture of her and Linda Vaughn (Hurst shifter girl) They are the two on the left, not sure who the lady is on the right.

Coors? Oh........you mean the Christmas Tree..................well, at least that's what we told the first sargeant. See the red signs? One says Merry, the other Christmas. The lights? The top ornament? It's a Christmas tree................I was an early adopter of recycling!Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

Ah ha, now things are starting to make sense. How long did it take you to "build" that Xmas tree Bob.
Don't we all wonder where those kids who wore size 28 pants went?

My two roomies and I started Thanksgiving with the goal to have it topped out at Christmas, we made it by one day. If I remember correctly it was 365 cans.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
