The old one (10 Yrs) is a Multi Cam 44
4'x4' table. The new one is a 4'x8' Shop Bot. Multi cam worked one day and didn't the next. when I called tech support and told them I had a 44 they said WOW didn't know there were any of those still out there anymore (10 yrs. in electronic years is ancient). Mine was an early one Ser. #58!! When they said that I knew I was in deep XXXXXXX. To fix it was more than it was worth. Since I'm gettin' on in years and inching closer to retirment I didn't want to spend alot on another CNC as it is not a real big part of my business, just a fun sidline really. So, I bought the Shopbot. I'll be,,,,, once I got it up and runin' it's a pretty handy little gadget.!!!! It cuts wood signs great and cuts aluminum and steel tooooo!!!!!
The first model car I built was a 32 Ford roadster by Revell in the mid 50's.
How did you get hooked on cars?
