I knew john force when he was just starting back in the early 70s he worked for santa fe rr autoveyor driving cars and trucks on and off the trains. I was the snap on dealer for the shops they had servicing the car hauler trucks about 50 mechanics he would come on my truck every week he was a loud mouth arrogant pompous a-hole then and I can't se he has changed much he knew I was a racer and he would come in there running his mouth full blast and all the customer would leave they couldn't stand him either he would go in the shop and pester the mechanics finally the shop formans band him from the shop and I had tell him not come on my truck I can tell you from experience a little bit of john force goes along ways and appears nothing has changed.........ted

After listening to a couple "live" interviews during the racing, he kept saying he was glad to have a hand in tuning again. Could be that he got his nose out of joint when Zippy got the promo to relieve Coil.

It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.
