.. and speaking of the California Chargers ....
...... here are three of them that I have replicated in plastic and resin ......... scaled down of course
The first is their front engine fuel dragster .................
............. the second is their '77 Trans Am Firebird bodied flopper ..............
............. and the last one I completed was a replica of their rear engine fuel dragster ............
Thanks Jerry ............ for all the memoriesLast edited by Old Coyote; 03-22-2010 at 06:42 AM.

Really nice work! I always admired those kits, but find myself unable to build models without changing them all around.... but have to admit "the world's most beautiful dragster" was tempting! The "box art" for the 1/16th FED was always a favorite, too.
Is this where we all pull out our drag models???? :-) Maybe I'll start a "dragster models" thread, instead of hijacking this one.
...even though OldCoyote made a great start! :-)~Last edited by HOTRODPAINT; 03-22-2010 at 11:33 AM.
