More early rear engine dragster
This is likely the first twin, rear engine dragster to run. Don Jensen, "Head Hunters", two Merc flathead engines, 1956.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

Neat car, Bob. Do you have any info on what it ran for MPH or time??? Where was the car out of and how long did they campaign it??? Thanks for the info.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

This one isn't a rear engine twin, but it's such a wild idea it had to be shown. Those are Ford Formula ohc engines. He bought five of them for $3500 when a rules change made them obsolete for formula racing. Of course that was in mid '60's dollars, so they weren't exactly cheap cheap.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
