Vortex insert Cone
Does anyone have any first-hand knowledge about these cones?
Trying to quiet the car down so I can co-exist with the neighbors in this GD Condo complex...
Car is a Unique Cobra 289 with sidepipes... 351 W. Pretty straightforward but just need to quiet it down a little...

Think I'd move!!! Never have tried the cones, so can't help ya there. There are some companies around that have inserts for the sidepipes in various forms and designs. The spiral looking things do a pretty decent job, have a set of them for the roadster.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Dave,
Moving is a definite option but in the meantime...
I live in a place that sounded like a good idea at the time...
It appears that a lot of the owners came here to die and I'm not at that stage yet... Oddly enough it's the old men that give me headaches and not the old ladies.... Flock em'.
I'll never put myself in the "condo" situation again..
If you have some product names I can research I'd appreciate it...
thanks for the reply

Richard, thanks... I should have remembered the search option.
I've posted over there but so far no one has replied...

I tried rubber isolators between the frame and pump, but it made little difference. I don't mind spinning the motor over to refill the carb(s), it allows time to build oil pressure, jmho..
