Championship # 15!!!!
IMO, just flat unbelievable!!!! John Force won his 15th Funny Car championship today in Pomona!!! Wow, what an accomplishment. When he crashed in Dallas I thought he was done, couldn't imagine anyone his age coming back from those injuries but he did!!!
Whether you like his operation, methods, or personality, ya gotta admit that John Force is one hell of a drag racer!!!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
Carroll Shelby
Learning must be difficult for those who already know it all!!!!

He's one of those guys that you either hate or love and I wouldn't go so far as to say I love him but besides Big Daddy..............
When he jumped in the stands after winning Topeka the next year after his crash, my son in law and I were there and we helped him in and out of the stands.Ken Thomas

Yep, he's opinionated, outspoken, and has all the tact and diplomacy of an oncoming Armored Division.
But he is one HELL of a driver. After Dallas 2007, most guys, especially at his age, would have hung up the fire suit.
But here he is with BIG Wally #15.
Love him or hate him or anything in between, you should respect the man for his accomplishments.

How about John Force?
He is first and foremost a drag racer, and he loves the fans. Watching him run along the fence slapping hands and jumping into the stands shows just a little bit of how much he loves the sport. I don't think anyone has done it better or longer than John. The fact that he still gets excited about it and pushes himself to compete, AND WIN, is amazing. And not only did he win the Championship, he went on to win the race too!
Way to go John!
PatOf course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!

When he first started gaining national recognition I didn't care for the guy much. But as the years have gone by I've grown to have a lot of respect for him. The guy just flat out has drive & determination. I was pullin' for him Sunday. I had to leave before his last lap, but I got to see all the action up to that point. Running down the track high 5'n the fans, gabbing that kids JF sign and waving it around (kid will probably have that poster on his wall for a few years) and jumping into the crowd, that was pretty cool after everything he had to go through to get back into the seat."PLAN" your life like you will live to 120.

He has a car show at his shop out here, usually once a month. He is very approachable and really fun to just BS with. He is very generous with his time. He is one of the few ones that actually makes money, you should see his new house!! He is a very nice guy. He will also go to some of the local car shows and hang out.

Austin Coil deserves a lot more praise. John is a good driver... and very entertaining the first few dozen times you see him... but having a competitive car is more important!!! Without that, the drivers skill is moot!
Austin has kept him competitive for decades... even though he isn't as amusing.
Congrats Austin!

John was quick to give credit to his team, including Austin. He especially gave credit to Mike Neff for turning the team around and lighting a fire under them. With a brain trust like they have, that can actually work together, shows what a leader John is, and not just on the track.
And how about the Al Anabi team? Alan Johnson has proven again that he is the force in Top Fuel. Congrats to Larry Dixon, Alan, the Sheikh and the whole team.

It will be interesting to see if Neff can keep the team going now that Coil is gone. I wish them the best."PLAN" your life like you will live to 120.
