    Any Del Worsham fans

I went to diner last night at Del Worsham's shop. I thought I would show how things change with a BIG sponsorship. It's a two story shop, first floor is typical stuff, machine shop, cars and chassis shop. But up stares when you need to relax is the fun stuff, two lane bowling ally, shuffle board, pool tables, air hockey, and pin ball machines. See all the Ollie's lined up down the bowling lane.
I took these with my cell phone, forgot my camera.

I'm a fan. I always saw him as a humble likeable guy, who obviously had talent. My gut instinct is that he is very appreciative of the opportunities he has had come his way.

Several years ago the team was testing here in Tucson, when PRO still used our facility. I was walking through their hospitality area, when Del actually walked over to me!!! ...to say "Hi". I could not even imagine that a driver would go out of his way to talk with fans ...unless there is a camera around.
    :-(

As long as he continues to be "that" guy, and doesn't get the big ego that many have, I'll remain a fan.

Gee, doesn't everybody have an upstairs like that in their shop???

But hey, Del has certainly paid his dues and deserves an A#1 setup like that!!! Betcha he's still just as humble and mild mannered as ever, too!

The whole family is that way. Curtis is the chassis builder, from New Zealand is super. You won't find a better or more deserving group!
