Jerry did back then they have aftermarket heads, like dual spark plugs and dual mags and did yours have that??.
Not engine related, but was it a in and out box for the drive?. Like just one direct drive.Last edited by 1gary; 07-20-2012 at 11:10 AM.

cast factorie heads--bigger valves, new guides---single plug--
the dual plug/dual mag engines were the elephant 426 hemis
drive was a shaft that had clutch spline on front end and a slip joint at pinion end---oh, and we had Weatherby drill a 375 rifle bore thru it and the axles were also gun drilled

You guys used to buzz those engines up pretty high, didn't you??. Did you guys tear down between rounds?Carry a spare with you??.
I don't remember where I hear this, but I thought nitro engines where wot or nothing. That is was hard on them to try to peddle them.
Are they going to build a period correct engine in this restoration?.
