Don't know about the rest of you, but I'm pretty discusted with the ESPN coverage of NHRA------Almost the total 3 hours were about Beckman,Capps,Antron Brown,Shumacker----------Courtney and Cruz were at the upper levels during every qualifying pass running 4.00 and they barely showed there runs and no discussion during the race about the different sides of the ladder/who could end up racing who----------But lots of time in Antrons trailer, beckmans trailer, around Capps and his daughter, Tony's pit----------I thought this was the Finals with a 16 car field---if it was all about the championship, only top fuel would had went the 4 rounds---pro stock would not have run at all after qualifying, and f/c would of been done when Courtney beat Capps----------------------

Anybody else having problems with ESPN3 internet connection? I've been getting an ''error code 305'' for the last few weeks. Ended up listening to the deal on the NHRA site ..... audio.

Jeff tried it on his computer & gets the same error code.

I was hopin' Capps would finally get it done. As far as the coverage, it was the same old same old in my opinion! NASCAR gets the same thing, They always talk to Jimmie Johnson or Jeff Gordon... they never seem to talk with Matt Kenseth or Kyle Busch. It seems like in Funny Car they always talk to John Force, In top fuel it's always about Antron, remember when Warren Johnson was hot? They never talked with anyone else! Even when Bob Glidden was whippin' the field week after week, he might get a one word blurb out and then you'd never hear from him again.

I can't answer about their website as I watched it on tv. I've never tried ESPN3 before though! Do you have a link you could share?

They just don't seem to want to televise racing anymore, they all want to televise drama!!!! Maybe some feeble attempt to get the non-race fans to watch or something. All this drama crap is taped prior to the event, then no matter what is happening at the event they play the tapes.....

So true! Look in the stands at the NASCAR races, huge holes of empty seats. It seems worse after the tracks installed all that new seating too! And ESPN only goes to where the viewers are. Otherwise a race could get covered around midnite.
