Just read a brief note in Dragzine that in the 2013 season Del Worsham will be driving the DHL car for Kalitta!!!! Going to be great to see Del back driving instead of being a Crew Chief on Alexis' car!!!!!

Wasn't room enough for him and Jesse James in same pit araea!!!!!!!!

I love it too! After being a rabid fan since '58, the cars have become generic... and the multi-team owners overbearing. The only thing that has kept me interested in drag racing in recent years, is to root for favorite personalities and underdogs... or against the ego maniacs, the self-centered, and the angry personalities.

Del is the only driver that I ever met, who actually went out of his way to strike up a conversation! He, and a small handfull of others, are my "heros". :-)
