Very cool though the flagman needed a red flag and he was too close to the starting line.Ken Thomas

Thanks abunch Dave. Brings back my days at Fremont Drag Strip as a spectator and friday nite grudge races and even earlier days at the old Samoa Air Strip across the bay from Eureka. And the music was a big plus.

Going through some old stuff this morning I ran across a little Polaroid "Swinger" film box that had sixteen little 2.5"x3" black & whites from KC International Raceway, must have been one time I was home on leave from the Navy, maybe '69 or '70? Stone, Woods & Cook's and the MALCO Gasser Mustangs going heads up; a black 427 Cobra, and several local gassers coming off the line hard. Terrible photos by today's standards - no telephoto, too far away, and the old Polaroid film, but the memories are still good.Roger

A "skip" = a dumpster.... but he says it's proper english??? Oh.. Okay. Most of us can see the dating site pun, "matching" with an arsonist.. But a "SKIP? How is that a box? It must all be...
